White Noise/Sound Machines
Monkey Baby Soother
White Noise Machine
This is a smaller option that is great if baby is dropped off with a relative or sitter, or even if daycare happens to allow a portable sound machine for infants as this can easily be placed near baby’s crib without disrupting the entire room!
Baby Monitors & Night Lights
Touch Control Nightlight
This nightlight quickly became a staple for us especially in the first year when I was getting up during the night for feedings and diaper changes but needed to keep the room dim so she didn’t wake up fully. I loved that it was easy to turn on and off by tapping. Super simple to use!
Nooie Baby Monitor
The Nooie Baby Monitor is a much cheaper affordable option that pairs with your cellphone and also connects and works through the Alexa which is a nice bonus! This camera can also automatically record at the sign of motion, baby crying or even with the detection of an abnormal sound.
Swaddles & Sleep Sacks
Freemie Breast Milk
When I started pumping, I was super bummed that I was confined to a room away from everyone else in the house. When I found out about these cups, and that they paired with the Spectra, and Medela pump along with the Freemie pump of course, I was beyond excited! I was able to pump right in the room with everyone and still be covered because these slipped right into my bra.
Willow Wearable Breast Pump
The Willow Pump is a more expensive option, but it’s a great option if you can afford it. I personally loved the option to pump directly into storage bags, rather than worry about having to transfer the milk. I personally used both the Elvie pump and the Willow, and The Willow Pump was a winner for me!
Hatch Nursing Bra
I actually came upon the Hatch Nursing Bra by chance when randomly searching on Amazon trying to find a nursing bra to take with me to the hospital, but I sure wish I had known about it sooner! This is a comfortable, affordable option if you’re planning to breastfeed your little one and just want something simple and easy!
Lansinoh Nursing Pads
Lansinoh Nursing Pads quickly became one of my staple products while nursing to help with leaking. What I appreciated the most was that I never leaked through them and even though I wore them daily, it was like they weren’t even there! I didn’t have to worry again about if I couldn’t pump on time and/or ruining my shirt.
Byrd & Bloome
I truly enjoyed this breastfeeding cover and would recommend it a thousand times over. It was stylish and simple option most people didn’t even realize what what was happening. It also comes in different colors so you can switch it up for the day to match if you’d like!
This was one of the items I enjoyed having the most. I needed a bag that could fit the pump itself, a mini bag that contained the milk I pumped with ice packs, a place to put my laptop and other documents for the office and it all fit right inside of this bag. It was perfect!
Staple Travel Products
Graco Pack ‘n Play
Having a Pack ‘n Play can come in handy for not just sleep, but also when you need a place to just sit baby down for a minute. We actually leave our Pack ‘n Play in the trunk of the car so that we can easily navigate naps at a relatives when we’re visiting without having to worry about packing it each time.
Sleepah Pack ‘n Play
Since the normal padding in the Pack ‘n Play is quite awful, we switched it out for a portable memory foam mattress. Please make sure this is age-appropriate for your little one, but this can be a game-changer for seeing better sleep using the Pack ‘n Play.
